Eurosif appoints Matt Christensen as independent director

Eurosif today announced the appointment of Matt Christensen as an Independent Director of the Association with effect from 1 September.

On Mr Christensen’s appointment, Eurosif Chair, Will Oulton commented:

His experience of Eurosif as a former Executive Director and his position as a leader in the European asset management industry, brings the depth of experience and practitioner knowledge that will be invaluable to the association, its members and stakeholders going forward. As the European regulatory financial landscape continues to evolve, bringing implementation challenges for the whole industry, the appointment of Matt significantly strengthens Eurosif and adds to the depth of expertise on the board. I am very much looking forward to working with Matt in the exciting but challenging times ahead.”

Matt Christensen commenting on his appointment, said:

Independent Directors are nominated by the Eurosif board and appointed by the Eurosif membership and serve for a term of three years.
